Start-up Case Study

A start-up approached BenchOn with a problem. They had just completed their initial tech build but had a six-month delay before it would be approved for release to the App Store. They didn’t want to lose their lead developer but could not afford to keep paying him during the six-month lull. They uploaded his employee profile to the BenchOn dashboard and within two days, he was successfully matched to a large organisation that needed an app developed over a four-month period. The revenue generated from this contract provided the start-up with another 6 months operating costs and after successfully completing the contract, the lead developer returned to the company with his leave and tenure intact and began work on an internal R&D project. It was a fantastic win/win/win for each company and the employee.
