Here at BenchOn, we also practice what we preach. We found ourselves in a situation where we needed to hire two new specialist staff quickly, yet we didn’t have the allocated cashflow to achieve it. Our only option seemed to be to let go of a non-essential staff member but we just couldn’t do that. These staff have been with us from the beginning and are like family. So, instead, we matched one of our staff to a 6 month contract at three days per week. The revenue this generated, allowed us to hire the two specialist staff while also reducing our operating costs. Instead of swapping one staff member for two, we reinforced our relationship with our staff member and grew by two new employees. We have experienced the benefit of the BenchOn model which is why we believe in it so much.
